If you use a French Press it will bring out all of the flavors of the coffee. Ethiopian will almost smell like Blueberry Jam and carry that flavor. Colombian will be fully bodied and smooth. If you’re using a drip filter the hot water pulls the unwanted flavors from the paper too. A stainless steel french press is the purest way to go with no foreign flavors contaminating your coffee.

hi, LOVE the water kettle! Could you please provide info on the brand and where it can be purchased? Thank you!

    Thanks… Yes some …
Thanks… Yes some say that it should not come to a boil. But to make things easy you can bring it to a boil and then take it off the heat for a couple minutes. Then your water will be just right. It would be to complicated if you had to stand there and watch your water temperature. 212 is boiling, you want it a few degrees cooler.

We’re all about making the drinking coffee experience easy for anyone.

    Enjoy,

    Hi Phewy,

Thanks for the comments and feedback. We should have been more clear on the size of our scoop. Our scoop is 1.5 tablespoons or 22.5 grams. So for 48oz of water it’s a nice smooth strong brew.

The Sumatran that we serve is also an Organic roast so the flavor is very distinct and fresh.

The grinder is a MrCoffee IDS77

If you’d like to try the coffee out here is a coupon code: QBNoir0508-1lbOnUs for 1lb free along with free shipping good until June 1, 2008.

    Enjoy,

Hmm, 8 tablespoons for 48oz? I tend to go a bit stronger, like 1 scoop (7 grams) for each 4oz, to each their own though! Love the foam from the Sumatra, fresh roasted?
What kind of grinder was that?
