Tired of making less than stellar java in your drip maker? Getting great coffee at home is simple with the right ingredients!

To complete this How-To you will need:

Fresh beans
Grinder
Cold water
Coffeemaker
Milk
Flavored syrup
Liqueur

Step 1: Decide on a grind

Figure out what grind your coffeemaker requires. Cone-shaped filters require a fine grind, while basket-shaped filters take a coarser grind.

Step 2: Grind beans

Grind the coffee beans. Pulse for 10 to 15 seconds for a medium grind, and 15 to 20 seconds for a fine grind.

Tip: When using a blade grinder, pulse the blade and shake or tap the grinder to achieve a uniform grind.

Step 3: Measure grounds

Measure two rounded tablespoons for each six ounces of water.

Step 4: Measure water

Add cold, filtered water to the coffeemaker’s basin and close the lid.

Step 5: Brew coffee

Start the coffeemaker and enjoy the aroma as the coffee brews.

Tip: Resist the temptation to sneak a cup before the coffee is finished brewing. The flavor won’t be balanced until the brewing cycle is complete.

Step 6: Serve

Serve the coffee immediately. Well-made coffee can be enjoyed black, with milk, or flavored with syrup or your favorite liqueur.

Hi, im just making a latte with my recently purchased Breville Ikon espresso machine, BES400XL.
Here i am using the pressurized filter basket and the crap tamper that came with it.

Best Coffee Machine | Best Coffee Maker

http://betterguideforyou.com/coffee-machine — Getting The Best Coffee Machine

Absolutely the best!!!

Has anyone ever gone to a diner, coffee shop or convienence store and drank the coffee and wondered how you can make this excellent tasting coffee at home? Well I have and I have to say that after going through 6 or more coffee devices, percolators, drip and yes even was desperate by drinking instant, I’ve finally found the one machine that duplicates the rich and wonderful taste that you find in the diner, coffee shop etc. I’m in heaven! It’s very easy to use if you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Yes, the reservoir is always on keeping water hot, unless you don’t plan on using it for a few days. But it makes sense since it seems this is the best way to maintain that critical temperture you need to make that rich flavored cup. I’m sure there are other machines that can do this as well, but I’ve been through enough of them and almost gave up because of the disappointed flavor I was getting. I’ve had Farberware percolators which came the closest to what I was looking for but sometimes I left it on… gooey mess at the bottom of the machine and a major clean up. The last machine was a Cusinart, that stainless steel machine that basically was just to look nice on the counter. The coffee was horrible and never hot enough. I gave up at that point and went to Folgers instant, which tasted better than that Cusinart machine. I decided to give it one more try and I’m ecstatic that I did. I even used some old Folgers coffee that was sitting in our refridgerator for many weeks and it tasted great, well, compared to the Cusinart. Can’t wait to see what it can do with some Green Mountain or even Dunkin’ Donuts coffee…
