Dirty House? Clean it up with Alka-Seltzer! Who knew the same product that has provided indegestion relief and humorous explosions for millions of people world wide could be used to do some of your most basic household chores.
To complete this How-To you will need:
Alka-Seltzer
Water
Step 1: Sanitizing the Toilet
Drop four tablets into the toilet bowl and leave them for 20 minutes. Brush, flush, and you’re done.
Step 2: Making Your Sink Sparkle
Fill your bathroom or kitchen sink halfway with water, drop in two tablets. Let stand for 20 minutes, drain, and rinse.
Tip: You can even soothe an insect bite with Alka-Seltzer. Dissolve two tablets in water, saturate a cotton ball, and press it on the sting for quick relief.
Step 3: Quickly Cleaning Greasy Cookware
Fill dirty pots and pans with warm water, add five tablets, and let everything sit for an hour. Wipe, rinse, and you’re good to go.
Step 4: Refreshing Your Vase
Remove the icky residue that gathers at the impossible-to-reach bottom of narrow-neck vases by filling them halfway with water and adding two tablets. Wait until the fizzing stops, then rinse the vase clean.
Step 5: Shining Your Jewelry
To clean jewelry, dissolve two Alka-Seltzer tablets into a glass of warm water and immerse the jewelry, letting it soak for two minutes.
Tip: Research shows Alka-Seltzer can even help you cope with nicotine withdrawal! Drink a glass of water with two dissolved tablets three times a day to help curb the cravings.
Step 6: Revitilizing Your Coffee Maker
Fill your coffeemaker with water and plop in four Alka-Seltzer tablets. Once they’ve dissolved, put the coffeemaker through a brew cycle to clean the tubes. Rinse the chamber a few times, then run a second cycle with plain water. Your next cup will taste great.

1. Click on your spy phone. Click on the Tools. Use the comb to get the pink fur out of the Furensic analyzer.
2. It will analyze the fur automatically.
3. Talk to G again. He will give you the old white fur. Analyze it in the machine.
4. Click on the Map in the upper left corner. Go to the Pizza Parlor (its in the Plaza) and talk to the penguin. Ask if you can use some of the ingredeince as evidence.
5. Put a bottle of hot sauce and chocolate sauce in your inventory. And also get a candle off one of the dining tables.
6. (optional) Talk to the penguin again, get the pizza, and give it to the penguin that is ice fishing at the back of the ski lodge (go to the Ski Village, then into the Lodge, then into the Door that says ‘Ice Fishing’).
7. Go to the coffee shop (in the town) and talk to the penguin.
8. He will talk for a while, then he will show you a drawing
9. Talk to him again about hot chocolate, and he will say the machine is broken and ask you to fix it. Click on the machine behind the penguin.
10. Put the mug under the hot chocolate drain and use the wrench (in your spy phone) to fix the milk hose on the left. Put chocolate sauce (from your bottle) in the bowl at the top.
11. Click the Knob on the right to change it from ‘Cold’ to ‘Hot’. Now Push the button to get hot chocolate. Now Pick up the Hot Chocolate Mug (filled with hot chocolate) and put it in your inventory.
12. Go to the gadget room in the HQ (teleport to the HQ using your spy phone) and get the AC1000 (its a fan) and put it into your inventory.
13. Go to the Lighthouse beacon (go to the Beach, then go into the Lighthouse, talk to the penguins, then go upstairs). Keep walking right until you see the Jet Pack Fuel floating in the air with the balloon. Click on the AC1000 so you’re holding it. Then click on the fuel to start blowing it and then cut the string that’s holding the balloon with your scissors (spy phone)
14. Then go to the Gadget Room again and talk to G.
15. Tell G you have all the items and pour each into Goggles Funnel. (Pour the fuel, then the hot sauce, and then the Cup of Hot Chocolate)
16. Once you pour in the substances, pick up the goggles and go inside the lighthouse.
17. Pick up the rope that is in the Red boat.
18. Go outside the lighthouse and get the Net (that’s next to the tray of fish)
19. Put the rope and net together to get a Trap.
20. Go to where the penguin was ice fishing and put down the Trap on the tree branch.
21. Put the candle down on the Trap as bait.
22. A crap will get caught in the trap and the mysterious animal will run away. A white tuft of fur will be left behind.
23. Pick up the crab and the white fur and take it to G in the Gadget Room.
24. Talk to G and then give him the Crab.
25. Talk to him again and then Analyze the white fur (put it into the slot on the left of the machine) and you will find out its a polar bear!
26. YOU HAVE FINISHED THE MISSION! Get the Medal and Box of Pizza!

Julia’s Sunday Dinners #6 – Chicken Soup Part 3/3
Chicken Broth
Raw chicken carcass or whole chicken
package of soup greens including:
1 yellow onion
Carrots
Parsnip
Turnip
Fresh Dill
Fresh parsley
Mushrooms
Salt and pepper to taste
Put all ingredients in to 8 qt stock pot.
Barely cover with water and bring to a slow simmer for about 1 hour.
Skim off fat from the top of soup every 15 minutes.
Then take a strainer of some sort and place it in another pot on the stove. Pour soup into strainer. (If you have a cheesecloth, you can use that to drain the soup at this point, instead of the strainer, thus eliminating the use for the next step.)
Then take the soup and pour it through a smaller strainer, coffee filter, or any other very fine strainer.
Serve with matzoh balls or reusue the vegetables and add some pasta and have a chicken noodle soup.
Spinach Matzoh Balls
3 Large Eggs
1 1/2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoons salt
1/8 teaspoons black pepper
1 cup unsalted matzoh meal
5 tablespoons chicken fat
1/4 cup frozen spinach, thawed and drained.
Mix all ingredients in medium sized bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Fill 2 or 3 quart sauce pot on stove and bring to a slow rolling boil.
Take mixture and form into balls about 3 cm in diameter. The balls will double in size when cooked.
Drop formed balls gently into boiling water individually. Boil for about 5 minutes and remove.
Place in your favorite broth.

Ingredients:
Clear Quartz Crystals – 1-2 inch are best so you can place one inside the coil, and I put smaller ones around it as well. The more crystals the more power. If you have smaller crystals put 2 inside the coil and one on each side of it.
Metal Shavings – shredded aluminum and copper or shredded titanium and copper. About 2/3 aluminum or titanium to 1/3 copper. I add pennies at the top for an extra copper power boost. Using pre-1983 pennies are best. You can get creative here. You can get metal shavings from metal shops that sell them, or you can use bb’s, or cut up steel and copper scrubbies from Walmart or the Dollar Store. The kind you clean pots and pans with etc..they’re easy to find. Cut them up in 1/2 inch pieces.
Copper Wire – you can get small roll packs of copper wire at the hardware store. About 18 gauge or smaller. I use 14 gauge. Cut off about 6 inches and wrap it around two fingers clockwise and make it coil. Then slide it off and set it into the center of your pan or cup.
Resin – I use auto bondo fiberglass resin. It’s easy to find at anyplace that sells auto parts. Even Walmart has it. You can buy a quart or a gallon. It comes with a small tube of hardner. It’s easiest to mix the entire thing at one time then try to guess proper amounts of the resin/hardner to use. You can get 12 muffin pan OB’s out of a quart. Don’t mix the resin till you’re ready to pour it. It dries quickly and will get lumpy and hard if you don’t use it right away after putting the hardner in it. Do not mix the resin in plastic. It gets to hot and dries much faster in plastic. I use old aluminum coffee cans.
12 cup Muffin pan or 3oz. dixie cups. I prefer the muffin pan because the paper is noticeable on dixie cups when tossed into woods or wherever.
Directions:
With vegetable oil or non-stick cooking spray grease or spray the pan. If you’re using dixie cups the cups won’t come off even if you oil them. Preferred method is muffin pan.
To keep the resin from drying to quick just add your ingredients first then pour resin over the top later. I spray the pan, put all the ingredients in each muffin hole, and then pour the resin over the top all at once over the holes.
If you’re using pennies for extra copper power place some copper down first, then the penny on top of that in the center of muffin hole and add some metal shavings on top of it, the coil and crystals, then a little more shaving on top of that.. (If you’re using a gallon at a time mixed up you might want to prepare the muffin tins first, the resin can dry and harden before you get to it otherwise).
For the coil cut off about 6-8 inches of the Copper wire and wrap it around 2 fingers clockwise and slide off placing the coil in center of muffin. Place some copper shavings around the coil and add 2-3 crystals inside the coil (depends on size of crystal here). Looser, wider coils give me more power than tightly wound coils.
I like to put crystals both inside and around the coil.
Fill to 1/3 of top of muffin pan with the ingredients.
Pour resin over. Let it absorb, then pour more resin over it to fill it.
Let it dry. Probably about one hour. Then take out of pan let them dry longer.
Make in a well ventilated area, outside or in a garage.
